Our Circle of Life Performance
To finish off our topic on 'The Circle of Life' we performed our dance to our parents. We also gave them a little extra surprise of singing and dancing to 'Hakuna Matata'.

African Drumming!
Today we had an amazing experience! All of year 5 learnt about African drumming and we all had a go at playing lots of different African drums. We even created a whole class performance!

Valentines Disco
Dancing, music and partying filled the school hall on Friday 7th February.
The children had great fund and even myself, Miss Jordan and Mr Wilson had to bust out some moves to show the children how it's really done!

Our last day of fundraising!
To end our month of raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital we had a huge cake sale full of delicious cakes.
And to finish this all off we finally shaved off those awful beards!
To our absolute delight we found out that, in total, year 5 had managed to raise £777.12! A huge well done year 5, your hard work really paid off :)

The Circle of Life
Yesterday Year 5 attended an exclusive cinema showing of The Lion King to start our new topic about The Circle of Life.

Moon Buggies
This week we received a video message from Professor Thomas Winterburn who had our final mission ready for us.
Our final mission was to design and create a Moon Buggy!
We were so excited and couldn't wait to get started. We spent two days creating our Moon Buggies, we had a fantastic time!
