We had to be very careful when chopping the vegetables. We learnt lots of new skills.

Shri Venkateswara Hindu Temple

During Inter Faith week we have been learning about Hinduism. As part of our learning we went to the Shri Venkateswara Temple in Dudley. We had a fantastic time and were lucky enough to see two Pujas being performed. After our trip we wrote a recount about our trip, as part of our Literacy work, which Miss Gormley really enjoyed reading.

Villa Vitality

This week Villa Vitality visited our year 5. We had a great time in the hall doing lots of exercises and team games. We also learnt a lot about a healthy balanced diet. In class we will be continuing our Villa Vitality work so keep your eyes peeled for another post about the fun activities we will be participating in!

Satellite Crash Landing in 5G!

Two weeks ago a Satellite from the British Space Agency landed in our classroom! Since then we have been research satellites and have started to explore our solar system. Each week we are sent mission from Professor Thomas Winterburn who is part of the space exploration team at BSA.
